So we had our first realtor come to the house to make an appraisal. There's another one coming on Friday.

She has really nice, and I enjoyed her thoughts and sense of humor. She'll be coming back on Tuesday with the appraisal done, so it should be interesting.

We're thinking about selling the home ourselves.

A realtor that is a friend of my FIL says if we found a buyer he would handle the paperwork and closing for 1% commission. Which is cool, because the reason we were contimplating a realtor was so we didn't screw up the paperwork or closing.

I think Spyros is thinking we should fix the house more. (A section of the roof, trim, possibly flooring) and wait until it's done before we sell.

Which is an idea that could be beneficial. I just don't know. And all I want is for someone to tell me what to do and that it will work out fine!!!

Simple thought: Don't over think stuff, your brain hurts and it makes you crabby.
