Here's the article I posted on the Wisconsin Street Teams Etsy Blog:

Hi. My name is Kim, and well, I'm addicted to Etsy and all things Etsy related. I know I'm not alone. In fact, if you're reading this, chances are you are too.

Some days are worse then others. At times I can just log on and check my store to see if anything has sold, and to see if I have any new conversations. Oh, who am I kidding? It's never as fast as that.

I tell myself I'll just click on the Time Machine three times (after checking my store and convos, of course). The first click leads me to a store, where chances are there are more items that I just have to check out. Then I'll check the person's profile to see if they live nearby, or perhaps to find out how they got started in their adventures.

After my allotted third click of the Time Machine, usually I'll see at least one more item that I have to inspect. And then I think to myself, well I've gone past the three so a few more won't hurt. A few clicks later and I start to feel a bit guilty, so I check the clock on the computer monitor and see that I've been on for 20 minutes. I'll just look for another 10 minutes, making it a perfect half an hour.

Then I see a gorgeous violet beaded necklace. I'm not a necklace wearer, but my mom's birthday is in three months, and what better time to start shopping then now. So I go to the Colors section and start clicking on all the purple squares.

And don't get me started on the Geolocator, Treasury or Featured Sellers....

Once I joined Etsy it was inevitable that I would join the Wisconsin Street Team, which led to joining the Blogger group (made so all our information would be easy to find and not get lost on the Esty Forums).
Then I had to join the Google group (to make sure I kept up with the stuff that may not be put on the Blogger site).
After that came the Flickr site to look at other people's photos and to post some of my own.
Then of course, there's my own website with the different card galleries and blog that has to updated regularly.

Between all the sites, and checking them throughout the day, it's a miracle I make any cards...

I found an interesting site that makes bags/clutches and some other items out of candy wrappers and soda can labels.

In case someone stumbles upon this site, I'm still living a frugal life, but there is too much stuff going on to continue with my frugal insights at this time... and I felt as if I was just repeating a lot of the same stuff.

But my frugal journey has led me to selling the cards I make (and still trying to get supplies for the cards in frugal ways.)
