I just can't stay away from Frugal Living. Although a lot of information has already been giving (ie, books, websites, magazine articles), I still feel that I should continue writing about my frugal journey. Perhaps it will just be a diary for me, but maybe a newbie will stumble upon this site, and it's just what they needed to help them start their own frugal journey.

Our town and surrounding areas got hit by a major hail storm about a month back, because of this we got a new roof on our house and one of the garages. We elected not to put a new roof on the second garage, because we would like to tear it down and rebuild, due to poor construction of the garage.
With the extra money, and hard work put in by DH (replacing the siding himself), we're going to be able to pay the van off (four years ahead of schedule), put a chunk of money in the bank, and hopefully pay off all of the credit card.
We had figured within five years we would have all of our debt paid off (except the house), but hopefully we'll get everything paid off in 2-3 years instead!
