Hello there.

Hope you had a nice extended weekend.

Ours was good, but busy and went by too fast.

Got my tattoo on Saturday. It took 6 and a half hours. Yes, I agree. That's long. I was told this was a big tattoo to get for your first one. But that I sat beautiifully.

It was very enjoyable chatting with everyone. And we got to meet another one of Kevin and Amber's friends that we had just heard about.

Watched House of 1,000 Corpses. It was okay. A lot like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But nothing I would rent again. And we saw Final Destination 2. I liked the first one, and the second was good also. Interesting to see the different ways the characters died. And the ending was funny.

Looked at about 8 houses on Sunday. We went to a different realtor. We like her (Kaaren, yes spelled with 2 a's) a lot better than the other one. We found two houses we liked.

The one we liked the best had a mail slot and a bench for storage and to take off your shoes right when you walk in. Hardwood floors were in about half the house. The kitchen had a lot of cabinets. The bathroom is all tiled. There's 3 bedrooms, so Spyros and I will each have our own office. And there's a partial basement that is clean and dry, for the washer/dryer and some storage.

There is no yard. Maybe 5' by 8' in the back and just the normal distance from the door to the sidewalk in the front. But that's fine with us, since we're not yard people. And we figure we can make the front yard look great with barely any money.

The other house had a bigger yard, which would be good if we wanted to expand the garage. The inside was nice. Could potentially have hardwood floors. It would need more work cosmetically. Wallpaper would have to come down, carpet replaced, plaster ceilings torn down and drywall put up. So it has potentially, and we would enjoy living there a long time, but if they are both for sale still when we're ready to buy, we'll take the first one.

Then we left my parent's house early Monday and came home to do some more work on our house. Painted doors, put up trim, cleaned....

Well, I'm gonna go now so I can do more cleaning. I'll put up a link to the tattoo pictures in about 5 days or so, when it's a bit more healed. Although it looks really good now. I really didn't swell, and so far no scabbies. But I'm sure that will be coming soon.

And yes it hurt, but more like a razor burn.
