Wonderful news... we have a second showing this Sunday. It's amusing because the realtor for this couple is our neighbor right across the street. Dave (the neighbor) has probably brought at least 5 couples through between this time and the last time we put our house up for sale.
Either he's being a great guy and trying to help us, or he wants us to move... ; - )
Right now I'm listening to the Chicago Soundtrack (courtesy of our library). I'm going to have to put a request in for the movie, because I really want to see it again. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Even though it's a musical, there's a great story line, vulgar language, and flesh (if you don't mind that....)
DH put most of the items up on Freecycle (the pictures for one item didn't take, for some reason, so we still need to list that). So far we've had interest in four of the items and one set pick-up time for tomorrow.
I don't normally talk about the cold weather, because, well, there's nothing you can do about it.... But dang it's cold out. I went from the one garage to the other one to get a pizza out of the freezer, and ugh..... It made me think of all the people and animals out in this weather.
If there's any programs in your area such as: coat or blanket donations, and you have some to get rid of, please take them to these places as soon as possible. There are many needy people, and no one should have to suffer in this cold.
Frugal/Simple Thought of the Day: There are so many people in need in your own town/city that instead of always sending money off to distant countries, try to find programs in your area that you can donate your time and/or money.
