Lunch yesterday was very enjoyable. Paige (11 year old daughter) was very entertaining and helped with the ackward silences that can happen when first meeting someone. Paige is homeschooled (or un-schooled, which if we ever have kids, this is what I would like to do...) and it was interesting asking Jodi (her mom) about it.
Next time we get together with them I would like to ask more questions, since I am very interested in this subject.
We have another showing today at 3pm, so after DH's chiropractic appointment at 2pm, we'll head over to the library. Like usual we have some things to return, and may borrow some more items....
I made a crock-pot full of bean stew yesterday (white beans, potatoes, carrots, onions, and spices). I froze half of it since last time some of it went bad before we finished eating it. I also made some blueberry muffins (Krusteaze? brand), and DH says we can get that kind from now on, so he must have really liked them!
I will be dehydrating some Granny Smith apples today so they don't go bad. I am not an apple eater (unless they're peeled and cut into pieces) but I really like the dehydrated kind.
Today is also laundry day, and I need to do some general cleaning; dusting, vacuuming, tidying up a bit...
