My plan for today is to tackle the laundry room. I want to clean out my craft supplies and make room on the bar in the closet to hang wet clothes. I also need to either pair down the Holiday decorations and/or find a place for the totes.

When we met up with some friends for a fishfry at Fitz's on the Lake (great fishfry...) DH brought along A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony for the daughter, Paige. (We purchased it for half price at Frugal Muse.)
We heard that yesterday she was already half way through it, and needed to be pried away to watch a movie that she had picked out.... I think she likes it!
It is from a series of about 15-20 books, so she'll have a lot more to keep her occupied.

Frugal/Simple Thought of the Day: If you go to yard/church sales, and find some children's or young adult books for cheap, consider purchasing them and donating to hospitals, youth centers, your library or pass them on to a child in your life. Reading can help in many ways, and with so many loud, fast-paced activities offered up to today's youth, it's good to have a slower paced activity every now and then.
