The chill is definately in the air. DH was running around the house singing the Christmas song, The Happiest Time of the Year (Don't know if that's the actual title?), while getting ready for work. I think the cold is getting to him!

Yesterday was a nice relaxing day at home. We had chili over baked potatoes for lunch. Then I cut DH's hair with clippers that we've had for about five years.

DH got a nice Christmas bonus that we will be putting directly in savings. It's so sad to look at the pre-tax amount and then the amount that you actually get.

There's 10 messages on the Madison Freecycling site. Very cool! We're going to put a couple items up, and then see if anyone has any size 15 down-hill ski boots. It's a long shot, but one never knows....

Simple/Frugal Thought for the Day: Get outside and enjoy this crisp weather with a loved one, or take the time to walk and meditate by yourself. Then come back home to some hot chocolate or a slow cooker full of comfort food.
